Dear Nina,

I apologize that I didn't see this comment before. I am glad that you had mild COVID. In fact, I saw a report in the mainstream media that about 50% of the population has had COVID and they didn't even know. So then why this fuss.

To answer your question- most reports that are being highlighted are using spike antibody levels as a measure of immunity and providing protection. But that is not the way our immune systems work. Once the infection is cleared and the threat is gone, antibody levels subside. If your immune system has made memory T cells, then upon subsequent exposure, your antibody levels will go up. Taking a jab after natural infection is really no help as it is only artificially measuring your ab responses and it may also direct resources away.

Remember, no one gets a jab if they have had chickenpox, measles, polio, or even flu. Yearly flu vaccines are a problem.

Hope this answers your question.

Best, Aditi
